Risk, Embodiment and Health Technologies
A One day workshop hosted by Biosocialities, Health and Citizenship RRG and the SMS network
I will be presenting on the topic:
The Robot Intermediary: Autism Attachment Styles and Machines
My talk will explore ideas of human attachment and the use of machines to help support child and adults with attachment disorders. I explore how machines are increasingly conceived as relational substitutes for those who experience attachment difficulties.
